Mexico Holidays from the UK — Cancun, Riviera Maya & Beyond
If your idea of a perfect holiday is white-sand beaches in the morning, jungle-shrouded Mayan ruins in the afternoon, and a plate of tacos al pastor under string lights at night — Mexico is built for you. It’s one of the few destinations where Caribbean coastline, ancient civilisations, world-class food and proper nightlife all live in the same trip.
At GenZ Travel, our Mexico holidays from the UK are designed to make all of that easy: direct flights from London, ATOL-protected packages, handpicked hotels in the right neighbourhoods, and the option to combine Cancun with Las Vegas for a true bucket-list trip. Browse our latest tours or send us an enquiry and we’ll build it around you.

Why UK Travellers Love Mexico
Beaches that genuinely look like the brochure. The Riviera Maya stretches from Cancun down to Tulum with some of the clearest water in the Caribbean. If you’d rather skip the crowds, the Pacific coast around Puerto Vallarta and Los Cabos delivers the same sun with a different rhythm.
Ancient history you can climb. Chichen Itza is on the New Seven Wonders list for a reason, and Teotihuacan’s Pyramid of the Sun gives you one of the great views in the Americas. Tulum’s clifftop ruins overlooking the sea are arguably the most photographed in Mexico — for good reason.
Food that’s a UNESCO heritage. Mexican cuisine is officially protected by UNESCO. Street tacos, mole from Oaxaca, ceviche on the Pacific, fresh guac, and over 300 varieties of tequila to wash it all down.
Cenotes — the world’s coolest swim spots. The Yucatán Peninsula sits on top of the planet’s largest underground river system. Swimming in a cenote is one of those things that genuinely lives up to the hype.
Mexico City. Easy to overlook if you’re picturing only beaches, but the capital is one of the world’s great cities — Frida Kahlo’s house, world-class museums, colonial architecture, and street food on every corner.

Best Time to Visit Mexico from the UK
November to April is the sweet spot — dry, warm, low humidity, and ideal for both beach time and sightseeing. This is peak season, so we recommend booking 4–6 months ahead, especially over Christmas, New Year and Easter.
May to October is hotter and wetter, but you’ll find lower prices and far fewer crowds. Just note the Caribbean hurricane season runs July–October, so flexible booking is worth having.
